Hello Aspirant,
JEE and NEET have not been cancelled till date. A proposal was given by UGC to merge JEE, NEET and CUET under the one nation one entrance exam policy.
"The proposal is, can we integrate all these entrance examinations so that our students are not subjected to multiple entrance examinations based on the same knowledge base? The students should have one single entrance examination but multiple opportunities to apply among the disciplines."
The quoted words above were said by UGC Chairperson, M Jagadesh Kumar in a TV channel interview.
As of now, this is just a proposal that is on paper. No official statement has been released regarding the implementation of this proposal. It will take time to merge such big exams into one. So, it is better to prepare for your respective exam.

NO. JEE and NEET are not being cancelled.
Earlier the UGC proposed to implement one nation, one entrance rule. The University Grants commission proposed to have a single entrance exam i.e CUET (Central universities entrance test). However this proposal is still under the drafts. The authorities have not released any official statement or confirmation regarding the exam. So JEE and NEET are going to be conducted separately. Also, this proposal has the least chances to be implemented because it will create a lot of confusion and chaos for the students .
Hope this helps
All the best :)
