    Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and National Institute of Technology (NIT) are premier colleges for engineering in India and are at the helm of scientific discoveries in our country. Being an institute of national importance, there is absolutely no place for any kind on discrimination here, be it religious, national or even sexual and IITs are in general very safe places for everyone to work.

    So, there is no religious discrimination in IITs. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
