Dear student,
As you have secured 17420 overall general rank in UPSEE exam then it is impossible for you to get KNIT SULTANPUR. Now even though you are an ews candidate then also you cannot get any branch in KBIT SULTANPUR as per seeing the last year cut off trends.
Now as your preferred branch is mechanical engineering, then you cannot get it, because for getting mechanical engineering in knit sultanpur, you must have to secure atleast under 3400 overall general rank.
And your overall general rank is much higher than this, so there is no chance that you can get mechanical engineering in knit sultanpur.

on upsee official site Actually they are all written the general merit ranks under different categories, not the category wise ranks. with this much ews rank you can not get iet, biet or knit. because for that, your general merit rank must be under 5000 for these colleges.
