Hello Anupam, As per your query about Army medical services for a medical student, i would like to say that YES, there are many ways in which we as medical professionals can serve in ARMY,
Firstly if you join as medical student in Army medical college like AFMC and Army medical college, Delhi.. Your chances of serving in Army increases as there is bond and all..
Secondly, suppose you pass MBBS from any other medical college (non army) then also you can join army through Short service commissions recruitment which is done based on requirements of army...
If you need any other information please let us know
Hopefully it helps

Earlier armed force medical college use to conduct thier own exam but now they will not conduct any entrance test for admissions to MBBS programme. Instead, AFMC MBBS admissions will be on the basis of candidates marks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) . Candidates who will qualifyNEET willbe invited to appear in ToELR (Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning), a psychological assessment test cum interview. Thus, in order to participate in the admission process of AFMC MBBS candidates will have to mandatory appear in NEET and qualify it. Candidates who will not appear inNEETre not eligible to fill AFMC MBBSapplication forms. Among the total MBBS seats in AFMC MBBS, 105 are reserved for boys and 25 seats are for girl candidates. Further, 10 seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories.
Just focus on neet and clear it with flying colours afmc is waiting for you
