Yes, it's necessary to add mathematics in calculations of best four subject percentage in case of bsc physics honours in DU. One language and other three core subjects need to be including mathematics. Here is a link where you can know the criteria in detail.

Hi, in order to be eligible to get admission in Delhi University college, you should have scored a minimum of 50% in English and should have a cummulative score of 60% or more in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

This means that you have include mathematics as one of your academic/elective subjects while calculating your best of four percentage.
