Due to the high fees of MBBS in private medical colleges, candidates want to go for good government colleges. There are almost 41,388 seats in 272 government medical colleges. And a total number of 76928 seats including all government and private medical colleges of India.
Most of the government colleges are in Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Madhyapradesh, Gujrat, Punjab, Bihar.
