GKIT, Malda is a government engineering college affiliated by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata . The college offers admission to the UG courses on the basis of JEE Main , WBJEE . The college have only two courses for BTech this are:
B.Tech Electrical Engineering
B.Tech Food Technology
B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Now the college also offers Diploma courses also and the admission to these courses are provided on the basis of JEXPO .
The placements are average with packages around Rs. 2.5-5LPA CTC varying from course to course.
