Sikkim professional University is recognised by University Grants commision Of India (UGC), The Indian Nursing council (INC) and The Pharmacy council of India (PCI), earlier the name of the University was Vinayaka missions Sikkim University but now it has been changed to Sikkim professional University, it was established in the year 2008.
