Generally admission in B.Tech. course in various colleges is done on the basis of JEE-Main and JEE-Advance results but yes there are some colleges which conduct their own admission procedure so, some colleges use to conduct interview sessions to determine the eligibility for candidate.
Since you have not mentioned about the name of college so it is little bit difficult for us to help you with exact dates.
