Sir , I had pcm (non medical) in 12th class can I give CA CPT exam?
Hello Gurleen,
According to the eligibility criteria, you only need class 12 from a recognised board. So , you can appear for the CPT exam. But, you must keep in mind that you will obviously need much more time to prepare as you need to start from the bottom. A commerce student would definitely have a positive point over you. But yes ! there is no substitute to hard work . So, just chill and work towards to preparation of the exam.
Good luck :)

Dear Gurleen,
Yes, you can apply for CA CPT. The only eligibility criteria for CA CPT is to pass 10+2 from a recognized board of education.
Although, you must know that CPT covers accounts, law, economics and quantitative analysis. Thus, you will have to work twice as hard to clear CPT as you don't have commerce as your subject.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck.
U cant attempt in PCM.
Thanks,
Azim
