Both Assam University and Gani Khan Chowdhury Engineering College are average level Engineering colleges However Assam University has better ratings and rankings for Engineering. Careers360 has rated Assam University with AAA grade for Engineering. The placement record are quite average in Assam University while Gani Khan Chowdhury Engineering College hardly placed on-campus because very few companies use to come to this college. However, a few companies recruit from Assam University with an average package of 3 to 5 lacs per annum. So if we compare these two, going for ASSAM University would be better.
