NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Hi aspirant,
NCERT is more than sufficient for scoring decent marks in NEET. But to score above average, you NEET to do more hard work.
- Prepare a proper time table. Work accordingly, don't keep anything for last minute.
- Revision -Toppers have always said this. Revision is the key. No matter how long you study, our brain can't hold it for long if we don't polish or revise it. Make a habit to revise a topic many times.
- Work on your weak topics, give more time to them. Learn biology, get thorough with it. That subject carries most marks. Candidate must score as much as possible.
- keep working and don't give it. Aim to score 720 marks.
Hope that helps. Good Luck.
Hi
NCERT books are great for clearing Basic concept and for Neet examination preparation but the problem with the NCERT books are that there are not enough number of MCQs and the types of questions which are asked in NEET examination to practice but practicing questions is very important for Neet examination so only ncert is not sufficient in addition to NCERT books you will have to follow others books as well
Now,
To be able to score 720 marks in NEET examination, that is full marks in your Neet examination there are two things you need to do first of all master your neet syllabus and second thing is practising mock test papers to avoid negative marking as many times we make silly mistakes and because of that we lose marks.
So you need to prepare well which you can do following the below mentioned tips:-
*Go well through the chapters and focus on understanding the concepts.
The best books which you can go for neet examination are listed below Subjectwise :-

*make a routine or timetable and religiously follow it :- Give at least around 8 hours to studies , your routine should revolve around 3 things i.e first study, then practice and finally revise
-)PHYSICS is the toughest part for most of the medical aspirants as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with ,so keep at least 3 hours each day for physics
-)In Chemistry you have to deal with reactions and learn them and solve questions as well, so give at least 2.5 hours to Chemistry
-)In biology you have to read, learn and revise again and again, so keep around 2.5 hours for Biology.
*After finishing each chapter you should practice questions, you should practise at least 80 to 100 numericals / mcqs in Each chapter
*You can make short notes for quick revision of important concepts and formulas , keep revising your concepts at regular intervals, like once in a week or 15 days .
*Solve previous year NEET questions :-it will let you know the examination pattern, type and difficulty level of questions etc
* Once done with complete syllabus, go through NEET mock test papers , it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination
