As per your rank you are not able to get any government College. As Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University is a government college in kanpur of UPTU. As the cutoff list vary from year to year. The cutoff list depends on the number of the students appeared for the exam and the level of the paper whether it is easy, moderate or difficult. Based on your rank you cannot get a good government College. So you must have good rank . But if you are interested in private College then you look for these Colleges:

These are Colleges of NCR . These are the private colleges where you can get chance even in CSE branch. If you have interest in other branch you can look for them also. You can get chance in core branch also in these private Colleges. If you want to take admission in private college in kanpur then you can look for Maharana Pratap Engineering College, Kanpur .You can predict your college according to your rank. You can come to know about  different Colleges by visiting their respective website. Give your preference in the first round of counselling. Go through counselling till last round. If you are interested to get a good government College in kanpur then you can dropped this year and do preparation for UPTU and attempt exam next year.
