Please leave your mobile phone at home or ensure it is switched off including any alarms (not just on silent) and placed in your bag or face down on the floor under your chair.



WATCHES -Smart watches are not permitted in exam rooms and the presence of any kind of smart watch will be treated as Academic Misconduct (cheating). Normal watches are permitted though you will be asked to remove your watch and place it on the corner of your desk for the duration of the exam to allow the exam supervisor to check it.



CALCULATORS- Where calculators are permitted, there are restrictions on the models allowed. If you bring a calculator that is not on the list of allowed models, you will not be permitted to use it and a replacement will not be provided, so it is important that you take note of these restrictions. Should your calculator be confiscated, you will not be able to apply for a Special Exam or Special Consideration on this basis.



The permitted calculator models list that UNE uses is found at theExaminations Office webpage. Please ensure that you note this requirement and check the current listing should you need to purchase a calculator for your studies at UNE.



Calculators which have been defaced such that the model number is not clearly readable by the exam supervisor will be treated as an unauthorized model and confiscated.



DICTIONARIES- Most exams will NOT allow translation dictionaries. Translation dictionaries will only be permitted where the unit coordinator specifies this on the 'permitted texts' for a specific exam. Where dictionaries are allowed, they will be checked for unauthorized notes, and you will be held responsible for any notes found (even if you borrowed the dictionary from someone else) and referred to Academic Misconduct proceedings.



Any other type of dictionary (eg English dictionary, Dictionary of Economics, electronic dictionary) will be confiscated.



ELECTRONIC DEVICES- such as mobile phones, electronic diaries, cameras, e-book readers and iPods are not permitted in the examination room. Mobile phone detectors may be in use in your examination room. Students found with electronic devices or mobile phones on their person during an exam will be placed on misconduct proceedings. Leave your phone at home or turned off (including alarms) in your bag.



PERMITTED TEXTS- if any texts are permitted, they must be hardcopy. E-Texts are not allowed as electronic devices (including e-readers) are not permitted in exams.



WRITING PAPERand graph paper will be provided if necessary. You are not permitted to bring your own writing paper. Sticky notes, even blank ones, are not permitted unless your exam is 'open book'.



You will also need some form ofPHOTO IDENTIFICATION(such as a UNE student card, drivers licence or passport) to present to your Examination Supervisor as proof of identification. If you forget to bring photo ID, you will still be permitted to complete your exam, but you will be asked to fill in a declaration of your identity and this will be checked.

well to attend for the oline exam you have to mainly carry your admit card compulsory on the other hand with respect to stationary it depends on the examnition department few provide Scribling pad ,pen but some of the exams wont while to be on the safer hand kindly take pen and note pad and dont forget take admit card
