The tier1 MBA colleges in India are all the 20IIMs in India. Banks offer placements directly because there is a brand name attached to your resume. The trends indicate that the average Placement in Tier1 schools has gone down. there are many colleges in which the highest placement has also increased exponentially. The highest pay packages go to those who do well academically as well as participate in extracurricular activities, therefore simply getting into a b school is not enough to achieve a good placement what you do with your time there is also of utmost importance. Work experience is also highly preferred.
