what cat rank needed for getting admission in ISM
Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad offers two-year, full-time MBA and MBA in Business Analytics programmes. Admission in both the programmes is based on the CAT percentile.
Candidates who have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in any discipline with first class or 60% marks or CGPA of 6 out of 10 (55% marks or 5.5 CGPA for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) are eligible to apply for the MBA programme, and candidates who have a BTech degree in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate or 6 CGPA out of 10 (55% aggregate or 5.5 CGPA out of 10 for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) are eligible to apply for MBA in Business Analytics programme.
There is no minimum CAT percentile stated by the institute for shortlisting candidates for the Personal Interview process or final selection. The cutoffs will depend upon various factors and may vary every year. The cutoffs may be less for candidates who belong to the reserved category.
IIT ISM Dhanbad will use CAT percentile for giving PI call and will use CAT percentile, Personal Interview score, academic performance, gender diversity, and industrial experience for final admission.
