Medical Imaging Techniques involves different technology that can be used to represent the different parts of body.
M.Sc Medical Imaging Technology is a course designed to provide in depth knowledge & impart skills for working as an assistant to the consultant Radiologist as well as to operate and assist in operating X ray, CT scan, MRI machines and fluoroscopy .
Radiology is the science of x-ray using these techniques. Different radiologists might use different techniques. And may specialize in only some techniques.

The course is designed as a full time residency program with responsibilities in managing the patients. The Post graduate student must take part in seminars, short topic discussions, case discussions, journal club presentations and clinical postings. The Academic training also includes lab work, experimental work and Dissertation.
