What is a criteria to became a aircraft maintenance engineer
To being an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer firstly candidate pursue Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course. And for pursuing AME Course candidate firstly register on AME CET, which is the entrance exam for this course and to take admission in AME Institute. Candidate who clear his/her 10+2 with non medical stream or with PCM. After cracking the entrance exam candidate have All India Rank of AME CET and through AIR candidate candidate choose AME Institute during counselling. And finally you choose AME institute for academic program.
AME is four year license program in which two-year academic program which is held on campus and rest two-year training in an airline. After the complating of academic program DGCA gave a Basic License and after that 2 yrs training is held on an airline and after succession DGCA gave you AME License or Type Rated License know at that time candidate are known as Aircarft Maintenance Engineer.

To become an aircraft maintenance engineer you need to clear the papers of DGCA ( Directorate General of Civil Aviation) and that too you have to clear atleast 3 papers and the passing percentage is 70%, When you clear the three papers then you will be given a licence by DGCA for an aircraft maintenance engineer.
