Eligibility Criteria for AME CET 2019
- Candidate must have either passed 10+2 or is appearing in 2019 with non-medical stream or 3 years engineering diploma or any higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics.
- All candidates who are eligible for admission in B. Tech. Courses are also eligible for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Course.
- Candidate age must not be less than 16 years at the time of admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.
- The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at AME CET 2019 shall be limited to 03 (three).
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a four year license program in which two-year academic in campus and rest two-year training in an airline. This program is regulated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt of India. DGCA is the govt body which deals in the aviation industry. In aviation industry the crowd of candidates is less than other field. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer deals with the safety, security and maintenance of an aircraft in the technical level. Candidate must passed 10+2 with non-medical stream or equivalent AICTE approved 3 years engineering diploma in any stream or any higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics at the time of admission.
Candidate who are eligible for admission in B Tech Courses are also eligible for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) programme.
Candidate age can be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.
Candidate must not have colour blindness and any physical disabilities.
Candidate must have minimum 45% marks in 10+2 with PCM or equivalent.
