What is negative point of student not achieve the Good percentile 95-100% in Cat , So what student do? Or get the High %,on preparation tym?
You wont be invited for the second round of admission to the top notch b-schools of India. Hence you miss out on getting a seat. As simple as that!
All the best!
CAT exam is the first step to get admission in any good b-school for pursuing MBA and this is the most difficult step. Without scoring 95+ percentile first of all you get out of the list of all IIMs and a few top private colleges. If you score 90+ percentile then also you will be able to get admission in a good college but still, you won't be in the top creamy layer of colleges. Even though the merit list of top b-schools is made on the aggregate score which consists of lots of different factors but mostly all through the process CAT marks are given the highest weightage. So, the biggest negative point of not getting a high score in CAT exam is that you won't get calls from top b-schools for the second round of admission.
You have simply two options either get enrolled in a tier-2 college and get a little low start with a slow growth rate in your career as compared to your colleagues studying in top b-schools or if you have option of appearing one more year in CAT exam, have the determination to score more, have confidence on yourself then go for CAT exam one more time because it's a lifetime achievement don't compromise with it.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
hi
the negative point is you will not get good college , so if you think that you have capabilities to score well in coming year so you should go for preparation .
if you think you don't have time to skip one more year so should try to find a college according to your score .
thank you
good luck
