Hello,
State Bank of India conducts SBI PO exam for recruitment of candidates to the post of Probationary Officers in different branches of the bank. Approximately 5000 vacancies are filled through this recruitment exam. The selection process comprises - Preliminary and mains examination followed by Interview. Candidates are selected based on their performance in mains and interview. The selected candidates will be exposed to basic banking knowledge, before joining, through an online course and will have to mandatorily complete this course before joining. The selected candidates, at the time of joining, will have to execute a Bond for a value of Rs 2.00 lac (Rs Two lac only) to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years. Candidates joining as probationary officers will be in a probation for two years.
