Vegetative mode of reproduction is a type of Asexual mode of reproduction and it occurs only in plants. It can occur in roots, stem or leaves depending upon the plant. In this type of reproduction new plant is formed from the vegetative part. This type can also be induced artifically. Eg bryophylum, mint, begonia etc
Asexual mode of reproduction occurs in lower animals. There are many modes of Asexual reproduction like budding, fragmentation, fission, spore formation etc. In this way many new organisms are formed. In this mode there is no fusion of gametes. Eg Hydra, algae, amoeba etc
