You can take it as assured that AISSCE 2018 is going to commence from the last week of Feb.' 18, viz., either 27th or before that; as revealed by latest reports. As commencement from first week of March would push the whole timetable forward (due to some festivities that typically occur on those dates) thereby resulting into a sheer delay of the whole thing. CBSE, this time, stands adamant to propose an ERROR-FREE EVALUATION: so, the exams are ought to be completed by first week of April or ev'n a bit earlier. "NO STRETCHING OF THE WHOLE SCHEDULE, THIS TIME. WE WANT TO FURNISH THE GREATEST POSSIBLE TIME TO EVALUATORS," is CBSE's cry of the hour.
Needless to say, as election stands in the foray to affect the schedule, the FINAL DATE-SHEET will be certainly be declared in the month of January. So, stay tuned to the official website as well as TOI, THE INDIAN EXPRESS & THE HINDUSTAN TIMES's websites to get your hands on the authentic news first.
P.S.- Do not pay heed on the unnecessary links that reveal trivia. Those are both untrustworthy 'n' kinda perplexed 'bout the matter on their own.
Best Wishes! Hope we could all make the most out of between those tiny or 'none-at-all' exams gaps!
