which branch is better civil/chemical
Hi Pradeep
Hope you are doing good.
Both the brances are good at their level
Both are also interesting.
Both disciplines require maths and physics.
Civil
:
Civil Engineering you will probably spend your time travelling from site to site e.g. Construction sites, construction bridges, etc.
Civil engineers are the creative and technical professionals behind infrastructure projects and buildings. They use their skills to ensure things like effective tunnels and septic systems are constructed, as well as a wide range of other systems and structures
Both are 4 year degrees if doing a bachelors.
CHEMICAL :
Chemical Engineering you will more likely be office based e.g. In the refinery or chemical plant or even working for a bank as a business analyst etc.
They use their knowledge of chemicals and chemical production and apply it to the development of products such as fuel. They also work on improving production methods for things like food.
Advanced positions for chemical engineers may require a Professional Engineer (PE) license but entry-level positions can be pursued with a bachelor's degree in this discipline.
Both are 4 year degrees if doing a bachelors.
If your marks are good, go for engineering. Engineering graduates earn more fresh out university than any other graduate (usually)
Rest of your choice.
Hope it helps.
Thanks!
Hi Aspirant,
Based on my knowledge,Of all the branches civil engineering is the best because it gives direct interaction with people directly or indirectly.and good interaction with nature. Many other fields may raise and fall but this not the case with covol engineering.Chemical also has good future.
Thank you.
Hello aspirant,
As per your question which branch is better civil or chemical so according to me both are very god interest the preferences of which is good or bad is on the your interest so first of all you have to make sure that in which branch you have more interest. I am comparing both the colleges on various factors which will be help you in selecting anyone as per your preference.
1) Civil engineering - Civil engineering is the main core branch of engineering which deals with planning, designing, construction, maintaining and operating infrastructure while protecting public and environmental health as well as improving existing infrastructure. The construction and infrastructure development projects including town planning are n the rise in coming days. In civil engineering you will study the subject related to the construction designing of various monuments. For more information go through the below link.

2) Chemical engineering - This course deals with the design, development of processes and operation of machines and plants through which the physical or chemical state of material undergo various changes. Chemical engineering finds applications based on the chemical processes in the industry. This branch is not very much related to other common engineering branches. Chemical engineers play significant role in the advancements of systems that depends upon material response for their function. For more information go through below link.

As the civil is the core branch so that there are more opportunities in civil branch but also there are more aspirants in that branch too so in comparison both are same but the only thing is in which one you have more interest.
Hope this will help you.
Best of luck.
