Hello,
After qualifying a PCSJ exam you will become magistrate first class then you can give exams for additional session judge at age of 35. So the stages are as follows
- First Civil Judge Junior Division/ Judicial Magistrate
- then Civil Judge senior Division (Sub Judge)/ Additional Chief judicial Magistrate
- then Chief Judicial Magistrate
- Additional District Judge(ADJ)
- District Judge
- Next stage is Registrar Of High Court
- High Court judge
Every stage minimum five years service is required before promotion.
If you have good political nexus then only you have a chance to become HC judge but during this journey most of them retire early before being elevated to HC judge.
