The RBSE stands for "Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education." It is a principal state agency and stakeholder of the Government of Rajasthan, and the RBSE comes under the "Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan." The main objective of the Rajasthan board is to promote, develop, and organise Secondary Education in the state of Rajasthan. BSER, or RBSE, was constituted in 1957 and was established under the Rajasthan Secondary Education Act of 1957 (Act No. 42 of 1957). According to RBSE's official website, 25,642 schools are registered with RBSE at the secondary level (Class X) and 9,241 at the senior level (Class XII). The data mentioned above is according to records from the year 2013-14, so the data may be a bit outdated.
