The full form for RRC is Railway Recruitment Cell. The Indian Railway conducts the recruitment of Group A, B, C and D posts. The Railway Recruitment Cell ( RRC) is responsible for handling the recruitment of Group D posts. The recruitment exam conducted by RRC came under the Government of India ( GOI). The exam conducted by RRC is Group D exam which is not conducted for the recruitment of officers in railways. The Railway Recruitment Cell tackles the recruitment of Group D vacancies in Rajkot, Ratlam, Bhavnagar, Vadodara Divisions, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and divisional units in the territorial administration of western railway.
The age of the candidate applying for the Group D exam conducted by RRC should be between 18 to 33 years ( both inclusive).
The minimum Qualification should be a 10th pass or ITI (Industrial Training Institute) equivalent.
The nationality of the candidate should be Indian.
The basic salary for the Railway Recruitment Cell Group D post is INR 18000 as per the 7th pay commission.Besides this basic pay, the employees are awarded attractive perks, allowances and incentives.
