What is the full form of SDS?
The full name of SDS is Student Direct Stream, and its purpose is to streamline the Canada Study Permit Application, which is used by students to obtain their student visas. Students from India and Brazil are the only countries eligible for SDS. However, in order for candidates to study in Canada, this programme would require them to fulfill a number of requirements established by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

How to apply
The Study Permit can only be applied for online through the Student Direct Stream.
You should have a charge/Visa and a camera/scanner. You will need to create a GCKey account- be sure to memorize the answers to the four questions you choose because each time you open your account, you will be asked to answer one of the four questions you chose earlier.
The required forms must then be filled out, signed, scanned, and uploaded, and all supporting documents must be scanned and added to the system.
To avoid delays in the processing of your application, it is preferable to pay the biometrics fee concurrently with your Study Permit application.
