STRIVE is the abbreviation of Skill Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement. This is a project implemented by the Government of India with the assistance of the World Bank. This project aims to improve the efficiency of skill sets by providing training collaborating with Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). The agreement towards this training was signed between the Government of India and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) on the 19th of December in 2017 and the closing date of the project is November, 2022. It is a Central Sector Scheme (CSS) with a budget outlay of INR 2200 Crore. This project involves 500 ITIs, including public (400) and private (100) institutions and 100 Industry Clusters (ICs). This program includes long-term vocational training to improve marketing skills and skill development.

Implementation of STRIVE project follows the Program for Result (PforR) instrument. The project results will significantly influence disbursing of funds from the World Bank to the Indian Government. These are also known as Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs). Each DLI will have separate segments called Disbursement Linked Results (DLR), and the respective elements' success will help release the fund linked with each DLR.

Female participation increased from 9.7 % to 20.5%.
The organisation of various capacity-building workshops.
