Until the 21st-century, growth in thermal power plants depended on internal combustion engines and equipment. But lately, the world has its eyes set on being greener given the increase in pollution at every corner. So, burning fossils will only reduce where the growth of thermal engineering graduates is only meagre.
When it comes to technology, presently we are just so highly hooked on it, that a future without it seems impossible. Therefore, thermal engineering has new fields to grow into; in this techno-savvy life are:

Dear Aspirant,
NIT Andhra Pradesh:-
Placements: The college is located in South India, so there is no need to bother about placements. The main problem is, as it is the youngest of all NITs, it requires some uniqueness, which takes some time. Till now, placements are not bad. Some of the students are placed in BrahMos, L&T and some well-known companies.
Infrastructure: It is the youngest NIT, and the facilities are very advanced. They have workshops with modern equipment. Mess and canteen menu contains both South India and North Indian dishes. They have a gym facility and a big ground with all types of sports and games equipment.
Faculty: For first-year students, assistant professors teach them. When they reach the second year, highly qualified professionals teach us by using modern technology. They teach many things apart from the book by using practical examples from our day to day life.
JNTU :-
Placements: Above 87 percentage of students were placed in the placements only. The highest package was about 12 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 3 lacs per annum, Amazon, tech Mahindra and other local companies came for recruiting the students. 20-30 percentage of students will get the internship in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was simple awesome and good to see, their will be different blocks for different department and labs are provided for different courses differently and classrooms was good and clean. Canteen in the college was good and clean and they maintain hygiene.
Faculty: The teachers was very helpful and well qualified and very knowledgeable the quality of teaching was simple good and easy to understand to the students. The course curriculum was relevant and it makes the students ready for industry. The difficult level of exams was moderate.

Dear Student,
Significant increase in the thermal efficiency of steam turbine power plants can be achieved by reducing the amount of fuel that should be added in the boiler.
This can be done by transferring heat (partially expanded steam) from certain sections of the steam turbine, which is normally well above the ambient temperature, to the feedwater.
This process is known as heat regeneration and a variety of heat regenerators can be used for the same purpose.
Also, Sometimes engineers use the term economiser which are heat exchangers, intended to reduce energy consumption, especially in case of preheating of a fluid.
Happy Learning!
