Arni University founded in 2009 is a state private university situated at Arni Kathgarh, Himachal Pradesh. The university has presented a number of programmes in different fields consisting of 128 course offerings and 26 degree programmes. Situated over an area of 111 acres, Arni University has registered total number of student strength of 936 and total faculty strength of 39. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Arni University offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral education to students in areas of engineering, management, arts, business, science and health-care.

Arni University have a number of facilities that are contemporary to enhance student learning in the university. Female and male students are provided with accommodation in two different hostels that ensure adequate student comfort. A learning resource centre is a library with an adequate number and choice of books, e-books, e-journals to meet the learning demands of students. Modern day laboratories fully address the practical requirements of science and engineering students. On the same note, the university provides an auditorium for occasions, seminars and other functions, a café selling a variety of foods and a health facility that has a section for first aid among others. Outdoor and indoor sport facilities with modern installed gyms are available to avid sports lovers and enthusiasts. Internet use is unrestricted across the compound and students use it to access their academic needs via wireless connections.

These cover the full time, part-time, online and certification programmes. The University offers diploma courses, bachelors, masters and post graduate programmes, and doctorate programmes. 

This paper is going to evaluate the admission process of Arni University and check that process is friendly to the students or not. For undergraduate courses, the university takes into consideration, the JEE Main scores and also the HPCET scores for availability. Besides the standard examinations it also has its own test called AUCET (Arni University Common Entrance Test) for diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. course admissions.
