This programme will be conducted for over 15 weeks.
The host institute, namely Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore, will provide the certification after successful completion of the course, along with four credits. The candidates would need a minimum of 30% in the course assessment and 70% in the end term proctored exam.
For the exam preparation, there are some study materials as well as facilities extended by Swayam. These include readable as well as downloadable pages for studying, video and audio lectures by our skilled faculty, and, online forums in the form of Q&A for clarifying the candidate’s doubts.
This course is available free of cost to all the candidates. However, they must pay a registration fee before joining to obtain the certification. The eligibility criteria will be published later and only upon clearing this eligibility will the candidate be considered for the certification.
AICTE, NPTEL, UGC, CEC, NCERT, NIOS, IGNOU, IIMB, and NITTTR are the nine national coordinators of Swayam.

The level of this programme is post-graduate, so an undergraduate level education is recommended to the participants before joining.
