72 MonthsPh.D. program in Chemistry shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, a course offered by the Bharati Vishwavidyalaya, Durg.
Eligibility Criteria
A Ph.D. in Chemistry requires one to be committed to research and development and sometimes spend days at a stretch in the laboratory. Being a rigorous curriculum taught over a period of 3-6 years, a doctorate degree involves fierce training and education. Apart from these, there are a few things that one needs to pay heed to while seeking admission in this course. Some of these are:
Senior Secondary Certificate or its equivalent from a recognized education board.
A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry or a related field of your specialization from an accredited institution.
A master’s degree like MSc Chemistry, and MSc Biochemistry from a recognized university.
