Ph.D. program in Hindi shall be for a minimum duration of one year, including course work, and a maximum of three years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, a course offered by the Bharati Vishwavidyalaya, Durg.


Eligibility Criteria

 The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing a Ph.D. in Hindi course is a pass in M.Phil Hindi degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC / ST / Ph.D.) candidates from a recognized college or university.

    The candidates who have a Master’s degree in the Hindi language along with five years of teaching, administration, industry, and professional experience would be an added advantage and they are too eligible for admission.

    Some institutes and colleges conduct an entrance examination to get admission into their Ph.D. degree in Hindi.
