Upon the completion of the Advancing Learning Through Evidence-Based STEM Teaching by EdX course, participants would receive a shareable certificate. However, to be eligible to get a certificate, the participant has to upgrade to the verified track within a predetermined deadline. No certificate will be provided for the course that ends.

The details of requirements for certificates will be prompted in the Upcoming Dates section in the candidate’s dashboard. After meeting the criteria and scoring the minimum passing score, the candidate will be eligible for the certificate. However, to earn the certificate, one must upgrade to the verified track within the given deadline.
The certificates given by EdX do not declare the final grades of the participant. It only showcases that the candidate has completed the course successfully with a passing grade. However, if one needs to showcase this final grade, they can do so by printing out the course Progress page which records all these data of scores and assignments.
Unfortunately, EdX does not offer this service yet. However, the candidate can easily print out the generated certificate! Or he/she can also save a softcopy of the certificate by following the given steps: choose file > print > Choose Adobe PDF as printer > click print > click save.
EdX would send the candidate an activation email on their registered email address. After registering with EdX, simply sign in to your email and click on the link given in the email sent by EdX. It will automatically activate the account.
Yes, just start the course as an audit track and switch to a verified track later. Remember that the graded assignments are only available under the verified track option. So, to make the most of this course, do consider switching to the verified track to bear fruit.
Yes, all you are required to do is reach out and request an exception accommodation for a proctored exam at least a week before the starting date. Follow the given steps to delete an account on EdX:
Unlink the edX account from the social media account linked with it by following the instructions given there. Reset the password to create a separate password for the account as it will be required to authorise the deletion process. Click on the Delete my account in account settings and provide the new password when asked for.
