Did you know sharks’ scales have influenced how humans design boats? Or that you can track the movement of some sharks on Twitter? Or that sharks have more senses than us humans? In this Sharks online programme, you will get to learn how scientists study sharks. Moreover, you will also join researchers in labs, oceans, and aquariums worldwide to learn about the biology, biodiversity, and conservation of sharks.
Furthermore, in this activity-rich Sharks programme, you will observe shark habitats and behaviour, dig into the fossil record, and track the movements of a wild shark. The syllabus will also cover topics in the sensory biology, functional anatomy, behaviour, reproduction, and ecology of many living species of sharks.
After completing the Sharks online training, you will be rewarded with a course completion certificate, which you can use to showcase your newly acquired knowledge of sharks. Also, the skills learned in this course will allow you to think like a biologist, along with honing other skills that will enable you to make broader and precise observations.
