About Dr BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam
In 1978-79, the academic year at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar PG Center commenced on a 49-acre land. Following the recommendations of the National Knowledge Commission, the university underwent restructuring, resulting in the transformation of the existing Dr. B. R. Ambedkar PG Center into Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, in 2008. The new campus expanded to cover an impressive 168 acres.

Currently, the university offers a diverse range of academic programs, including 01 Diploma, 03 PG Diploma, 07 UG, and 23 PG and Ph.D. programs across its three constituent colleges. The institution places utmost importance on the quality of the teaching-learning process, meticulously evaluating all relevant parameters.
Currently, the university boasts a faculty strength of 90 members. Admission is offered through an entrance exam. Students have to fulfill the minimum admission criteria to appear for the test. You haven't mentioned your category. Assuming that you belong to general category you may not get seat in Mechanical Engineering in COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING BR AMBEDKAR UNIV SELF FINANCE considering the cut off in 2019. The cut off for general category was 55837. This year the cut off is expected to be in between 55000-56000.
Cut off may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.
