Warehouse Design and Management is a course to learn about warehouses in detail and how to manage it. Warehousing Management

In this programme candidates will learn in detail about warehouse management and design as mentioned below

The first part of an application form is Personal Profile which requires participants to fill up their personal details which include their First Name, Last Name, Gender, Nationality, Date of Birth, Age. Along with personal details they’ll have to fill up contact information which includes Personal Email, Official Email, Mobile Number and Phone Number. Then in the same part they’ll have to put in their job details - Organization, Sector, Designation, Position of the Nominee, Designation to whom you report and Present Responsibilities. They’ll also have to mention their reason for joining the programme before filling in the organizational address and residential address.

The next part is the Professional Profile which is divided into four sections: Education, Work Experience, Programmes attended at IIMA, Programmes attended elsewhere.

  • In the education part candidates will have to mention their degree, subjects, year and university respectively. 
  • For work experience, candidates should mention the organization they work in, their position, years of experience and gross salary.
  • In the programmes attended at IIMa Section participants need to fill in details such as programme title, duration and year
  • And finally for programmes attended elsewhere, participants need to mention the institute, programme title, duration and year.

The next details are To Be Filled In By The Sponsor. 

  • First there is a checkbox that should be ticked if self sponsored. 
  • Then fill in the details such as name, job details, address details and contact details.
  • Job details include designation, organization, GST Number, Permanent Account Number.

1: What happens if a candidate is unable to attend the programme?

The fee is refundable is a candidate is unable to attend the programme only if the request is put forth two weeks before the commencement of the programme

2: What about a candidate's health insurance during a programme?

IIM-A will not be held responsible for any kind of medical fees acquired by the candidates in the course of their stay. It is advised to talk to the insurer or employer.

3: Do candidates receive a certificate at the end of a programme?

On successful completion the candidates will receive a certificate which is subjected to certain requirements such as having at least 80% attendance. If the candidates can’t attend a session due to any reason they need to seek approval prior to the session.

4: What pedagogy is used?

The course is carefully compiled to develop an expertise on management of warehouses with the help of simulation games, case modules of management and a set of design.
