The ‘Introductory Neuroscience & Neuro-Instrumentation’ online course is a design-based program offered in the Swayam portal which is an initiative by the ministry of education in India. This faculty development program approved by the AICTE is developed and provided by the National Program for Technology Enhanced Learning in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science(IISC) in Bangalore. The course study is focused on the design aspects and implementations of neuroscience in our day-to-day lives.
The program is conducted for a period of twelve weeks by the course instructor from the center for Bio-systems science and engineering in IISC, Dr. Mahesh Jayachandra is the facility technology manager in neurophysiology. This is an elective course and developed as a part of the electrical, electronics, and communication engineering domain.
The students of the ‘Introductory Neuroscience & Neuro-Instrumentation’ training program will gain three credit points and receive a course certificate that contains the NPTEL and IISC logo making it E-Verifiable.
