Course Overview

The ‘Computational Physics’ is a National Program for Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) online course offered for the students to build their competence in the computational techniques and strategies and to get introduced to methods of quantum and classical computations. This online certification course is provided by the Swayam, a free online education portal for a period of twelve weeks.

The instructors for this elective course are academically trained faculty Prof. Apratim Chatterji and Prof. Prasenjit Ghosh from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER, Pune). The students of training will gain computational insights and will be able to explore the field of physics through the theoretical and practical exposure of concepts.

The ‘Computational Physics’ online training program enables students to receive the certification and credit points after completing this All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) course and assessments according to the eligibility standards.
