Dear candidate........ hope you're doing good..
Well, basing upon your category rank in JEE ADVANCED, it is difficult for you to get admission into any of the IITs. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling since you're a SC candidate and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high. Yes you may get into IISER Bhopal, ISER Mohali, ISER Pune or RGIPT BARELY.
Hope this helps you out.....
All the best !!!

Hello,
No there is no integrated course like Integrated M.Sc. for Zoology in IISER Thiruvananthapuram. If you are doing B.Sc. now, after completion of Bachelors you can do Integrated PhD (I.PhD) at IISERs. I.PhD involve MS and PhD. This is for 7 years divided into 14 semesters. MS will be in Biology only and not Zoology. But MS syllabus contains most area of biology. Also there is no option to exit after having MS.
Another option is to do PhD at IISERs after doing your Masters. The entry to IISER Thiruvananthapuram for I.PhD is through any of the three exams like JGEEBILS, JAM BL/BT papers, IISER Test. Then shortlisting occurs for interview which go through two rounds. According to me doing I.PhD is better because it give you experience to do PhD in an institute where you study for two years. It give you much help while you choose your guide rather than going for PhD to a new institute where you do not know about the faculties well.
Hello,
You cannot do Integrated MSc. in Zoology at IISER Thiruvananthapuram. All IISERs provide BS-MS programme. The programme is provided such that you should study biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and a little humanities for first three years. Then from the fourth year you can select Major. Major is for two years. If you are interested in Zoology, you can choose Biology as Major.
BS-MS is mainly for students who are passionate about research. If you are not about to turn to research you can select B.Sc. for three years and then go for M.Sc. for two years in Zoology or any other course that you are interested in.
Hey Sagnik,
Since you haven't mentioned your state, I would state that your board percentage is enough to qualify for IISer in any state except Telangana, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu. That being said, the cutoffs of these states lie on the line, so you may or may not qualify.
If you qualify, then with your marks you can easily expect any IISER except Kolkata and Pune.
Best of luck.
However it was in its developing phase but still it was good. I enjoyed a lot natural beauty and greenery. Clean and AC classrooms. Lab facility was good and developing. Sports facilities was playing. Large campus ,there was too much to explore.
