Dear Jayshree,
Yes, you are eligible and you can apply for IISER admission on the basis of PCM Group. However, you need to have appeared and qualified in any of the 3 channels based on which admission to the 7 IISERs is done. Admission into the IISERs is done based on 3 channels - Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel and JEE Advanced. So, you have to qualify in any of these 3 channels and then meet the cutoff of the respective channel, basis which you are applying for admission. For admission through all 3 channels, you need to fill the application form which will tentatively be available in fourth week of May 2018. Candidates can apply for direct admissions based on KVPY and JEE Advanced, while for admission through SCB channel, they have to take an aptitude test. However, the eligibility criteria for each channel must be met. Check the specific eligibility criteria of each channel from the link below.

Hi Ramkrishan,
You can apply for IISER admission either through KVPY or SCB channel. For SCB channel, you have to appear for aptitude test conducted by the admission authority. In the case of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), you will be offered admission on the basis of valid KVPY fellowship. However, you will also need to check and meet the eligibility criteria for the channel and institute.
You can check IISER admission process here- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/iiser-admissions along with the IISER eligibility criteria
Also, do refer the KVPY eligibility criteria
Thanks!
the integrated BS+MS 5YEAR duartion course at IISER has very decent placements, but the majority of students go for Phd post graduation and hence, the college is well known to produce scientists.
there are plenty of scholarships available here to ame the course fee affordable.
In my opinion if your looking out for job, then this is not the right place as college promotes students into further research.
You should rather go for Btech and Mtech in that case from IIT, NIT and IIITs for big bang packages.
As around 30-40% seats of IISER are filled with KVPY fellows for Undergraduate admissions, top 50% of KVPY rank list to be sure of getting call for an interview. If you explain your rank then accordingly I can help you.
Good Luck!
