Course Overview

The Design, Technology, and Innovation online course is an eight-week-long program created by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay's IDC School of Design. The course sheds light on how innovation links together various sectors, including technology, management, design and humanities. The Design, Technology and Innovation program by Swayam is a Faculty Development Program (FDP) approved by the AICTE. Eligibility Criteria

There are no prerequisites to join the Design, Technology, and Innovation training and the course is open to all the interested candidates.

Certification Qualifying Details

There are eight assignments and a written exam included in the course. The final score will be based on both – written exam (75% weightage) and the average assignment score (25% weightage). The best six out of the eight assignments will be considered to calculate the assignment score. Only those candidates will be eligible to get the Design, Technology, and Innovation certification who qualify the criteria mentioned above and achieve a final score of at least 40%.

Step 3 – Login with an existing account. If you do not have one, click on the ‘Sign up now’ hyperlink, fill in your necessary details and create a new Swayam account. You can also sign in instantly by linking a Facebook, Google, or Microsoft ID.

Step 4 – Finally, you must click the ‘Join’ button on the Design, Technology, and Innovation course page to successfully enroll in the program.

Evaluation process

The written proctored exam for the Design, Technology, and Innovation certification will take place on designated exam centers across the country. The exam shall be held in two different sessions – a morning session from 9 am to 12 pm and an evening session from 2 pm to 5 pm. Exam dates are available on Swayam’s online portal.

The online registration form will be published with further details about the exam in the near future. Interested students have to pay the exam fee and fill this form to appear in the Design, Technology, and Innovation course exam.
