Eligibility Criteria

The Evaluation of Textiles Materials online course requires candidates who have a basic knowledge of statistics and mathematics (10+2 level). They should also belong to the 2nd/3rd year of UG textile physics background.

Moreover, students who wish to obtain a certificate should score an average of 25% in the internal assignments (average of best 8 out of 12 assignments). Also, they should score 75% in the final term examination. The final score will be a sum of the marks obtained in the internal and external exams.

Evaluation process

Candidates interested in obtaining a certificate for the Evaluation of Textiles Materials program, are required to appear for an end-term proctored exam held at the designated exam centers. The date of the exam is provided by Swayam on its website. The registration URL for the same will be sent to the candidates in advance.

Interested students can fill in the application form online and pay the fee. Other relevant details will be shared with the candidates after the registration link has been published. Students can refer to the link to find out the cities where exams will be held.

To be eligible for certification, the candidates should secure an average assignment score greater than or equal to 10/25 and the end-term score greater than or equal to 30/75. In case any one of the above conditions is not satisfied, the candidate will not be eligible to obtain a certificate even if he/she secures a total of 40/100 as the final score.
