Course Overview

The structure of the Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery certification course is designed with an overview to make the learning of each module easier and more understandable. The Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery certification complete course is based on the simplified learning of the respective field. They would provide information into the fundamentals of biomass, the evolutionary approach methods, and the various types of goods that can be obtained following successful processing.

During the first few tutorials on biomass forms, their structure, and composition, accompanied by information on different pre-treatment technologies currently adapted to the development of cellulose, were covered. Subsequently, the basic technology for conversion, along with the design of reactors for physical, chemical, kinetic, and bacterial conversion techniques, were discussed in detail. The next part of the Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery training deals with different items, such as biofuels, chemical platforms, polymers, etc. Finally, integrated bio-refinery principles, biorefinery forms along with LCA and TEA have been included.

The course is divided between different smaller modules with respect to the whole curriculum. The curriculum will allow students to learn the skills required to design the necessary biomass-based adsorption technique as needed.
