In any computing system, graphics are one of the most fundamental components. The primary role of Graphics is to render digital content (0’s and 1’s) on the computer screen, in a format that human beings can understand. The rendering process takes place in a series of steps or stages which are collectively termed as the graphics pipeline. The Computer Graphics course will introduce the graphics pipeline and all of its stages.
The Computer Graphics programme covers a wide variety of topics including various object representation techniques, the stages of the pipeline including the modelling transformation stage, 3D to 2D viewing transformation stage, clipping and removing hidden surfaces, and scan conversion or rendering stage.
Graphics hardware used in the present day, including I/O devices, and GPU, and the wildly popular graphics library - OpenGL, will also be introduced in the Computer Graphics online course. Candidates will learn all this and more, only in eight short weeks.

Certificate Qualifying Details
To avail of the Computer Graphics certificate, candidates have to obtain an average assignment score should be 10/25 or more, the exam score should be 30/75 or more, and the total score should be 40/100 or over. All three conditions must be met, otherwise the candidate will be ineligible for certification. The total score, exam score, and average assignment score are calculated as under:
Total score = Exam score + Average assignment score.
Exam score = 75 percent of the marks obtained in the 100-mark, term-end, proctored exam.
Average assignment score = 25 percent of the average score obtained in the six best assignments (out of eight).
By the end of the Computer Graphics training course, candidates should be familiar with all the stages of the Graphics pipeline, including:
