Course Overview

Design of Power Electronic Converters Certification is about the basics of power electronics, different types of power converters that are used in industry, and their applications such as DC/DC, AC/DC, DC/AC, and AC/AC Converters. It mainly converts the electrical energy of one type into another with different characteristics and is used to drive any device that requires an input of electric power other than that supplied by the primary power source.

Design of Power Electronic Converters Classes covers the basics of Power Electronics Types of Power Converters and their usage in the optimization of algorithms that select optimal parameters and components.

All students get a Design of Power Electronic Converters Certification from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) under the Swayam Initiative by the Government of India.
