Course Overview

The Engineering Hydrology certification course is a 3 months online program. This Engineering Hydrology Certification syllabus is decided and made up by the IIT Guwahati, but the course is offered through the platform of Swayam, and this course certificate is granted by the institutions of NPTEL and the Indian Institute of Management Guwahati.

The  Engineering Hydrology training belongs to the core program section, which deals with water's complex interaction and pathways connecting the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and lithosphere. Here the course will give us an idea of how hydrological science is mathematically quantified for engineering applications to manage water resources. Professor Dr. Sreeja Pekkat explains this certificate course.

The Highlights

Eligibility Criteria

Certification Qualifying Details

  • The completion of Engineering Hydrology certification by IIT Guwahati, and Swayam along with NPTEL is offered once the candidates get average passing marks in both the final assignment and exam. The candidates must get 25% in the 8 best assignments out of 12, and 75% in the final certificate exam.

What you will learn

Civil Engineering skills

After completing this Engineering Hydrology curriculum, students will be able to manage water resources by using hydrological science, which is mathematically quantified for engineering applications, and in-depth hydrological statistics, which is crucial for dealing with a sizable amount of data that serves as the foundation of hydrological analysis.

Who it is for

Students who are graduating as civil engineers may look to pursue this certification course.
