Theory of Composite Shells program is a postgraduate level course that will take you on a journey from the basic concepts of doubly curved shells to the development of shell equations. It will also provide an introduction to three-dimensional solutions of a cylindrical shell.

IIT Guwahati has designed the curriculum of Theory of Composite Shells certification in association with NPTEL. The course will be taught by professor Poonam Kumari and will be available online on Swayam, an online learning platform that is a Ministry of Education, Government of India initiative.

Theory of Composite Shells is an eight-week course that offers certification as well. There are periodic assignments and an exam held at the end of the term to help motivate you and understand your progress. There is no enrolment fee for this AICTE approved FDP course.
