Course Overview

The Introduction to Robotics program is developed by IIT Kanpur. It explores the concepts and mathematical calculations that go behind building robotic manipulators. This introductory course lays a foundation in advanced topics such as AI, automation, self-driving vehicles, and much more. Concepts studied include kinematics, VAL programming, automation, trajectory planning, and vectors.

The Introduction to Robotics certification syllabus uses video lectures, book references, a final assessment to facilitate learning. Learners must be familiar with mathematics, differential equations, and matrices- all on a fundamental level. This AICTE approved course is best suited for undergraduate and postgraduate-level electrical, mechanical, and computer students.

Engineering teachers and working professionals may also apply as this elective course is an FDP (Faculty Development Program). Candidates can opt for the Introduction to Robotics certification by securing the minimum marks as mentioned. For this, they need to complete the course, submit assignments, and write the final-term proctored test.
